University of Minnesota Duluth Wells Fargo Financial Markets Lab
Since 2001, Wells Fargo has collaborated closely with the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) at UMD. Here students have the opportunity to apply fundamental, technical, and quantitative analysis techniques to real-world investment settings.
LSBE encourages students to develop their own methodologies to analyze investment options within financial markets by embracing the inner workings of today’s global financial marketplace.
Essential to student success in the program is the UMD Wells Fargo Financial Markets Lab. This 1,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility has a display wall with real-time financial information for the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and other financial indices, preparing students for the real-world of financial markets in 2025 and beyond.
“The UMD Wells Fargo Financial Markets Lab provides hands-on learning opportunities that help build critical skills for our student scholars as they prepare to enter the financial services industry. We are grateful for the way in which Wells Fargo’s partnership continues to strengthen and inspire our students and their communities.”
